THE RAIN IS STREAMING SIDEWAYS

The rain is streaming sideways 
The rivers of water clear my mind
My mind flows downstream, drip drip
I try not to trip on my rocky thoughts and let it flow

The rivers of water clear my mind
My mind wanders farther afield, seeking peace
I try not to trip on my rocky thoughts and let it flow
Slower than the rain falling I come to a realization 

My mind wanders farther afield, seeking peace
My body melts and I find release
Slower than the rain falling I come to a realization 
The rain falling connects me to myself 

My body melts and I find release 
The rain falling connects me to myself
My mind flows downstream, drip drip 
The rain is streaming sideways
